Principal Back welcomes back families to Greenwood for the 2024-25 school year with reminders including what to expect at morning drop off this week and beginning of the year paperwork.
Volunteers are needed for Greenwood’s fall BOKS session, which will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 24 through October 31, from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. BOKS is a free, before-school, fitness program designed to give kids a body and brain boost that will set them up for a day of learning. Registration for the BOKS program will begin Monday, September 16th— information will be sent out in next week’s Gator Tales.
On Friday, March 8 the PTO will host our third annual adults-only trivia night. Your ticket includes great Chinese cuisine, trivia, and DJ entertainment at Feng's. Tickets will be limited to the first 42 and none will be sold at the door. Get ticket information here.
The seventeenth annual AuthorFest will to roll into Greenwood School March 18-22, bringing nationally recognized authors and illustrators to share their knowledge of composition, story development, editing, illustration, and publication with our Greenwood students. We are excited to provide an opportunity to purchase signed books from our authors. Completed order forms must be returned to the Greenwood PTO by Wednesday, January 23rd.
