BOKS is Back at Greenwood!

Greenwood’s fall BOKS session will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 24 through October 31, from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. BOKS is a free, before-school, fitness program designed to give kids a body and brain boost that will set them up for a day of learning. Run by parent volunteers, the national program aims to improve children mentally, physically, and socially by strengthening their minds and bodies through movement.

Volunteers are needed! Volunteers are asked to make a 1x or 2x a week commitment to help lead a 45 minute fitness/nutrition session before school. Training will be provided! This is an awesome opportunity to make a huge difference, with a minimal time commitment! If you are interested in volunteering, please speak to Tara Durrant or Steve Coveney, the Greenwood BOKS coaches, or email Greenwoodboks@gmail.com .

Registration for the BOKS program will begin Monday, September 16th, on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots will be limited to the number of children that we can safely accommodate, based on the number of volunteers. The more volunteers we have, the more kids can participate in BOKS! Registration information will be sent out in next week’s Gator Tales.

Thank you,
