The seventeenth annual AuthorFest will to roll into Greenwood School March 18-22. This week-long event, sponsored by the Greenwood PTO, brings in nationally recognized authors and illustrators to share their knowledge of composition, story development, editing, illustration, and publication with our Greenwood students. They also help bring literacy to life in the form fun, creative literacy-based activities.

The AuthorFest planning committee has been busy all school year making sure that AuthorFest 2019 is a blast. This year, we will welcome four authors into our school: grades four and three will be captivated by Mark Peter Hughes, the second graders will be inspired by Erin Dionne, our first graders will be inspired by author/illustrator Scott Magoon, and our kindergarten students will share a laugh with author/illustrator Marty Kelley.

We are excited to provide an opportunity to purchase signed books from our authors. All books listed are available for purchase and will be inscribed and signed by the authors to the child of your choice. Books can be ordered from all authors, not just the one visiting your child’s classroom. Also consider purchasing one for another child in your life--signed books make great gifts! Please specify the name to be inscribed on each. Completed order forms must be returned to the Greenwood PTO by Wednesday, January 23rd.
