Dear Greenwood Families,

What an amazing week of celebration we enjoyed here at Greenwood! Thank you to all of our families, the PTO, and Sarah DiFrenna and Marika Conway, our coordinators extraordinaire, for the caffeinated beverages on Monday, the gigantic “stick-y” feast on Wednesday, and the beautiful flowers and tasty chocolates on Friday. It’s only a small part of why Greenwood is a great place to be!

Optional Class Placement Questionnaire

If you intend to fill out the optional placement questionnaire for next year, please remember to return it to the main office (or to me via email) by Monday, May 13th. You can reread my letter here.

Early Release

Just a reminder that Wednesday, 5/15 is an early release day for students. Lunch will be served at school before we dismiss at 11:55am.

All School Meeting Reminder

Our Kindergarten students will be hosting the next All-School Meeting on Thursday, May 23rd at 9:00am. They will be teaching us all about the core value of “friendship.” We can’t wait to hear from them!

Math MCAS

Time flies...our 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the Math MCAS assessment on Tuesday, 5/21 and Wednesday, 5/22. We are confident that everyone will do their best math thinking and explaining! Just a reminder to make sure students arrive on time so that they can begin testing with their class - students who are tardy or absent will have a makeup session later in the week.
