From the Principal: 12/2/19

Dear Greenwood Families,

Welcome back!  Or at least I’m assuming we’re back...the weather forecast as of this writing seems to be full of hype for the weather system heading our way.  It sounds to me like we’re just going to get a slushy mess, but we will just have to wait and see! I hope that everyone had a restful and relaxing break—it’s hard to believe that it’s December already!

All-School Meeting Tomorrow —Grade 2 Hosting

Our 2nd graders will take charge of the All-School Meeting on Tuesday morning at 8:50am and use that time to teach us about the important quality of compassion.  Families are welcome to join us and watch from the balcony as we come together once again.

Wakefield Holiday Stroll & Hat Parade

Come and show your Greenwood School spirit on Saturday, December 7th at the Wakefield Holiday Stroll’s Hat Parade!  Find your best hat and meet at the Civic Center at 1:45pm for a parade down Main Street starting at 2pm. Look for the Greenwood School banner and join the fun!

2020 MCAS Dates—Grades 3 & 4

While springtime seems a little far away at the moment, it is important for everyone to have the dates for MCAS testing in grades 3 and 4 well in advance.  We understand that some absences are unavoidable, but we do ask that everyone be mindful of the testing dates when making appointments, as there is limited time for makeup testing.  Thank you for your attention to this!
