Dear Wakefield Community:
It is with great enthusiasm that I announce the appointment of Ms. Tiffany Back as the next Principal of the Greenwood School. Following two rounds of interviews with a cohort of highly qualified candidates, Ms. Back emerged as an exceptional match for the vision, mission and core values of the Greenwood community and the Wakefield Public Schools.

Tiffany Back has been a teacher in the Newton Public Schools since 2007 and a school administrator since 2013. Adding her previous teaching experience in Wayland and Shrewsbury, Ms. Back has over 18 years of elementary classroom experience in every grade level, 1 - 5. She has served as a Response to Intervention Coordinator and Liaison between grade level teams and a Student Services team. Ms. Back is an experienced leader in professional development and guiding the work of Professional Learning Communities.

Tiffany Back earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees from Boston College and her Principal Certification through the EDCO Collaborative Educator Leadership Institute. Ms. Back brings substantial experience and leadership skills to the Wakefield Public Schools. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Tiffany Back, beginning July 1, 2018, as the Principal of the
Greenwood School.
