The Greenwood School PTO is collecting nonperishable food items for the Wakefield Food Pantry to distribute to local residents for Thanksgiving dinner. Students can bring donated items to school from October 26-November 4. There will be a drop box near the main office.
PTO Committee Chairs and Class Parents are asked to attend this important information session at 7 p.m. at Floramo's. We will review roles and guidelines for this year, go over fundraising/financial policies, answer questions, and identify needed support. It is important that all chairs and volunteers are aware of district, school, and PTO policies, as we work to bring more programming back this year!

The Greenwood PTO is collecting items for the Wakefield Food Pantry to to create "Summer Starter Packs" for the Kids First program. Students can bring donated items to school from April 27-May 12. There will be a drop box near the main office.

The Greenwood School PTO will once again be collecting used (in good condition) adult- and child-size warm winter coats. The coats will be cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners and given to those who need them free of charge. We will be collecting coats through January 8th.

Each grade is assigned a specific food in greatest need by the organization. Should you wish to participate, please send your item in your child's backpack any time from Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30.
Respond, Inc., in Somerville is looking for donations for their short-term shelter, and the Greenwood School hopes to pitch in. Families who wish to contribute can send the items suggested for each grade level in your child's backpack or drop it off in the collection box near the main office by Friday, January 3.
