The Greenwood School PTO is collecting nonperishable food for the Wakefield Food Pantry to distribute to local residents for Thanksgiving dinner.  We have a goal of 300 items to collect!

Drop boxes will be outside during morning drop-off time on Thursday, November 2nd, and Friday, November 3rd. Children may also bring items in their book bags to drop off in the collection box in the hall outside of the library from October 30th to November 7th.

Each grade is assigned a specific food in greatest need by the organization, but please feel free to donate any of the requested items.

Kindergarten: Quick Bread Mix (pumpkin, cranberry, etc.)
Grade 1: Boxed or Bagged Stuffing
Grade 2: Boxed Potatoes
Grade 3: Canned Gravy
Grade 4: Cranberry Sauce
All Grades: Jarred Pasta Sauce

Please no bulk sized items or perishables. Donated items will be delivered to the Wakefield
Food Pantry on Thursday, November 9th at 6 p.m. If you and your child are interested in helping
