AuthorFest 2023 is Coming in March!

The 19th Greenwood School AuthorFest will bring literary inspiration and celebration to the Greenwood School the week of March 6th. This week-long event, sponsored by the Greenwood PTO, brings in nationally recognized authors and illustrators to share their knowledge of composition, story development, editing, illustration, and publication with our Greenwood students. They also help bring literacy to life in the form fun, creative literacy-based activities.

The AuthorFest planning committee has been busy planning to make sure that AuthorFest 2023 is a blast. This year, we will welcome three amazing authors into our school: grades four and three will enjoy a visit from Erin Petti, second-grade students will be captivated by Jacqueline Davies, and kindergarten and first-grade students will be inspired by Wakefield’s own Sarah Lynne Reul.

We are excited to provide an opportunity to purchase books by our authors, and to support a local bookstore, The Book Oasis! Click here for more information and the online book order form. Payment may be made via PayPal or check. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 17th.
