Dear Greenwood Families,
Happy Monday! March is clearly coming in like a lamb...and I’m going to go ahead and say that I hope it goes out like a lamb as well. Preferably a sunnier, warmer, perfect-for-outdoor-recess kind of lamb! I can’t imagine there will be much dissent on that front, although I’m sure there are a few people out there mourning the lack of snow thus far.
No School—Tuesday, March 3rd
Tuesday, March 3rd (tomorrow!) will be a professional development day for the Wakefield Public Schools due to Election Day, which means no school that day for students.
Upcoming All-School Meeting
Our next All-School Meeting, which will be hosted by 1st grade, is scheduled for Monday, March 9th at 8:50am. They will present to us about the theme of “honesty.” We’re looking forward to it!

Superintendent’s Message about Coronavirus
On Friday afternoon, Superintendent Doug Lyons sent a message out to the WPS community that shared general information and recommendations about precautions we can all take to stay healthy. His email also included links to additional information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Please take a moment to check it out if you have not yet done so.
Thank you for everything you do to support your children and their learning—let’s have a great week!
