Dear Greenwood Families,

As I looked at the Greenwood Calendar, it really struck me how my list of “Upcoming Events” has all of a sudden become VERY short. Of course that’s because we’re IN all of the events right now! Thursday afternoon we welcomed our newest Gators, the incoming Kindergarten students, for a Greenwood visit (with very extensive tours given by our 4th graders!). And for a sense of balance, on Tuesday we will celebrate our 4th graders as they prepare to move on to the Galvin. Time flies!

Field Day

Amazing weather. Unparalleled volunteers. Smiling children. And lots of water! Who could ask for anything more? Thank you to Tara Durrant and the Field Day Committee for an excellent event!

4th Grade “Moving On” & Class Picnic

The 4th Grade “Moving On” Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11th and will begin at 9:00 am in the gym. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather for the afternoon picnic and celebration at Mapleway!

Grade 3 Recorder Concert

Our 3rd graders will demonstrate all their recorder-playing skills with a performance at 9:00am on Wednesday, June 12th in the gym. Please join us!

Last Days of School…

The last day of school for our kindergarten students is on Friday, June 14 (this Friday!), and it will be a full day for the students. The last day of school for Grades 1 – 4 is Wednesday, June 19th, which will be an early release day with students dismissed at 11:55am. No lunch will be served on the final day of school.
