Dear Parents,

I hope you will be able to join Jay Wallace our math coach on Tuesday, February 13 at the PTO meeting beginning at 7:00 PM. He will share mathematical resources that are available to students and parents at home. We will also discuss the importance of math discourse in classrooms which is a goal on our School Improvement Plan and be available to answer questions you may have about how to support your child at home with mathematics.

A reminder that Wednesday, February 14 will be an early release day for students. Lunch will be served. Students will be dismissed at 11:55 am. School will be closed for Winter Break 2/19/18 - 2/23/18. School will reopen Monday 2/26/18.

There will be a community forum Thursday, February 15 at 7:00 PM at the WHS Savings Bank Theater hosted by the Search Committee for the next Superintendent. This is an opportunity for faculty, staff, parents and community stakeholders to ask questions about the process and share the skills and qualities you hope to see in the next Superintendent of Schools. I hope many of you will be able to attend.
