From solar energy to engineering basics, the Curious Kids program brought STEM to life at the Greenwood in May. Funded by the PTO, concepts within science, technology, engineering, and math were introduced to students through hands-on activities.
Students worked independently and in pairs to practice critical thinking and collaboration skills. They created with loose parts, engaged in the planning process of engineering, and addressed STEM challenges from different angles. We are excited to have brought innovative programming to Greenwood and hope the students were inspired to continue STEM learning. Thanks to the PTO and all the volunteers who made this possible. Ask your students about their designs, their challenges and success stories!
