Dear Parents,

I would like to thank Sarah DiFrenna and all the families who donated baked goods for our staff to share with their families. The treats were amazing and delicious and your generosity and thoughtfulness were sincerely appreciated by our faculty and staff.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 3rd. Greenwood students and their parents are invited to help kick off the Holiday Stroll by participating in the Hat Parade that will begin at the Civic Center at 3:00 pm (families should arrive at 2:30 and look for our school banner.) Wear a festive hat and come and show your Greenwood pride as you march in the parade with us! Parents must attend this event with their children.

I ask that parents of students in grades 3 and 4 mark the below important MCAS dates. We know that students perform best when they can take tests with familiar test takers and their classmates. We ask that families avoid planning vacations, doctor appointments, etc during the following testing windows:

Thursday, May 11— Math Unit 1
Friday, May 12th — Math Unit 2
Monday, May 15th — ELA Unit 1
Tuesday, May 16th — ELA Unit 2
Thursday, May 18th — ELA Unit 3
