Due to various conflicts with town events, the April meeting has been moved back to Monday (from Tuesday).
A presentation on our newly adopted writing curriculum and the role of the literacy coach will be shared. Come, find out more about how your children are learning to become writers!
In addition, we will explain the nomination process for the 2017/18 PTO Board, with a vote taking place at May's meeting. If you have a nomination in mind, please feel free to bring a completed Board Nomination Form to this meeting.
Board Officers will be elected in May, to serve for one year, with term of office running from July 1st to June 30th – a full calendar year, with a maximum of three consecutive years in any one office.
The officers of this organization shall be representative of the Greenwood School and shall consist of president (no more than two), vice president (optional if there are co-presidents), one secretary and one treasurer.
According to our bylaws, we may fill up to three roles for the upcoming 2017-18 school year, with up to two presidents and up to two vice presidents, not to exceed three total roles. Based on the qualifications and interests of those nominated, we may restructure the roles as described in Board Role Definitions to provide the best benefit to the Greenwood School and the greatest opportunity to interested and capable volunteers.
