Greenwood School Science Fair
Saturday, April 27th ~ 9-10:30a.m. ~ Greenwood School Gym
All students and families are invited to participate in the 2024 Greenwood School Science Fair!
Science fairs involve students in the practices of science and engineering, requiring them to apply those skills to a topic of interest to them. Doing science is key to understanding science.
Hands-on scientific investigation and invention are the focus at our Science Fair. Your child will design, test, analyze, and present a project that uses the scientific method to investigate a question or the design process to solve a problem. The sky’s the limit!
Please note that the bulk of the work will be done at home. The PTO will provide a tri-fold presentation board for each student, and we have compiled resources such as optional presentation templates, project guidelines, and numerous online resources to help with the process. However, much of the work will be self-directed. Parents are encouraged to offer support and reminders, but to allow children to lead the project. The whole family is encouraged to be involved!
