Wakefield’s Parent University will be back this spring with a keynote presentation and five evenings of casual, interactive workshops.
Keynote: “Raising Emotionally Intelligent Children”
March 16, 2021 | 7 p.m.
How are you feeling right now? Has your family experienced a roller coaster of emotions since the pandemic began? If so, you aren’t alone.
In this interactive, live webinar, Dr. Marc Brackett, director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and author of Permission To Feel, will teach you about the science of emotions and provide research-based strategies to support you and your family’s well-being, relationships, decision making, and work performance during these challenging times.
Additional workshops will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from March 18 to April 1. Workshop topics will focus on remote learning, social and emotional health, and technology support.
Registration for the keynote is now open. Workshop descriptions and registration coming soon. Visit https://sites.google.com/site/wpsparentuniversity for details and to register.
