Hello Gator Families! What a year it has been and there’s no better year to spread a little extra holiday cheer to our community. The Greenwood Fourth Grade Class invites your child and the entire family to participate in two opportunities this season.

Holiday Card Collection

We invite you to create handmade cards that will be collected and delivered to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities here in Wakefield. The more cards we have, the more cheer we can spread, so rally siblings, parents and grandparents alike! Cards can be sent in via your child’s backpack and given to their classroom teacher. Remote students can drop cards off in a collection box that will be on the front stairs of the school on Monday December 14th and Thursday December 17th.

Dollar Drive for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Stoneham and Wakefield

Every year the Boys and Girls Club provides holiday meals and gifts for our friends and neighbors in need and this year the need is greater than ever. If you would like to help, please consider making a monetary donation via the PayPal button on this page (or you can send in a check made out to the Greenwood PTO). If you choose to participate, please have your child write their name on the gift tag sticker that will be sent home and return it to school to be placed on our Holiday Cheer display.
