Greenwood students and their families are invited to help kick off the Holiday Stroll by donning a festive hat and marching in the Hat Parade! The parade will begin at the Civic Center at 2:00 pm; Greenwood families should meet in the Americal Civic Center parking lot at 1:45 pm — look for our school banner to gather with the Greenwood School crew. (Parents/caregivers must attend with their children.) Judging for the Hat Contest and the Ugly Sweater Contest will take place at 1:30 in the Civic Center’s Drill Hall.

More About the Wakefield Holiday Stroll: Albion Street and a portion of Main Street will be closed to traffic 2:00 to 6 p.m., as the town celebrates this annual holiday event on Saturday, December 7. Enjoy children's activities, entertainment, great food, and so much more. This year, there will be a Best Hat Contest, an Ugly Sweater Contest, and a Holiday Cookie Baking Contest! You also can bring a new unwrapped toy for a community toy drive.
