The Wakefield Police Department presents a week-long safety summer camp where kids ages 8-12 are taught safety skills that are centered on the nationally recognized “RadKids” program, which teaches, trains, and empowers children with real skills so they can recognize, avoid, resist, and if necessary, escape violence or harm.
The following weeks are available: 6/25-6/29, 8/13-8/17 or 8/20-8/24
When: 9am - 1pm (Graduation day from 9am - 11am)
Ages: 8-12 years old
Where: Galvin Middle School, 525 Main Street Wakefield, MA
Cost: Free
The day of Graduation, an adult must be there from 9:45 am until 11:00 am.
Email ktobyne@wakefieldpd.org with the parent’s name, child(s) name and age, home address, and phone number. We have a maximum of 15 slots available. These camps fill up quickly and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Confirmation emails will be sent.
Kids will need to wear sneakers, bring a snack, lunch and water. This will be a peanut free camp.
