On Saturday, October 14 from 6-8 p.m. the Galvin Auditorium will be screening The S Word and hosting a panel discussion. This is a FREE event to our community, but attendees do need to register.
The S Word is an award-winning film by Lisa Klein. This film puts a human face on suicide by delving into the hearts and minds of suicide attempt survivors and the families and loved one who are left behind after a suicide death. One psychologist who attended said “Viewers will leave informed, inspired, and uplifted.”
There will be a Q&A session following the film with the Lisa Klein, film director; Craig Miller, an attempt survivor; and Dr. Pata Suyemoto.
